Experienced the pain during lock-down, quarantine, pandemic to the community and economy, we decided to start My-Cart.ca marketplace to solely focus on supporting inclusive local sellers, supporting our domestic economy.
COVID-19 and the tragic injustices experienced by our Black and Indigenous communities have impacted every aspect of our lives—from businesses to consumers—we are all affected. So, we want to step up and do our part to help local businesses thrive by supporting Black-owned, Indigenous-owned and New or small Canadian-owned businesses with the platform and voice to thrive equally.
My-Cart is built with Omni-channel mindset to increase in-store engagements and drive more traffic stores with in-store/ curbside pickup. At the same time, we provide an infinite stage to the local sellers so that they can showcase their products nationally.
We also kept the marketplace share lowest in the industry, so that sellers will get the most profit from selling their products.
We are a passionate team of diverse e-commerce professionals, with over 20 years of experience, who have worked in the North American, European, and Asian markets. We know the power of online shopping and want to provide small local businesses, with or without an e-commerce website, the opportunity to sell their products online, to survive & thrive in today's challenging economic environment.
We also know that customers love supporting local and want an amazing online shopping experience. So, in this age of social distancing, customers can shop locally at any time of the day and have their purchase delivered quickly. Our goal is to equalize the online playing field, so communities win and that small, local and diverse businesses get a seat at the e-commerce table.
